Duels can be joined from the Duels page available from the top bar:
Types of Social Tournaments Duels
Here are the types of Duels available on Social Tournaments:
1 vs 1 Duels – two players are randomly chosen and placed face to face on a randomly chosen game. This duel can be joined solo by clicking on the ‘Join’ button. This duel has a buy-in cost of 1000 coins and a 50 coins Rake. The duration of this duel is 30 minutes, meaning that it will end within this limit whether players finish it or not. The prize pool of 1900 coins goes directly into the winner’s account.
2 vs 2 Duels– this duel can be played solo or with a friend. If you choose to play solo, a randomly selected player will be teamed up with you in the duel, so the two of you can play against another team of two. If you choose to play with a friend, you will need to select one of your Friends and ask them to team up with you by following these steps.
1. First, you need to enable all notifications for Push Notification settings in your profile.
2. Check your “Friends” tab to make sure that the friends are connected to your profile. If not, enable the “Friend Request Agree” option and check the ‘Friend Requests’ field to accept those you’d like on your team.
3. Activate the notifications in your browser settings to make sure you receive the ‘Duels Invitations’ from your friends.
4. Once you have at least one friend connected to your profile, you will be able to access the 2 vs 2 Duels.
5. Go to the Duels page and select “Join with Friend”
6. Select the friend you’d like to play with by clicking on the red figure with the plus sign as seen below. You can also play 2 vs 2 by teaming up with another random player if you don’t want to join your friend’s team.
7. The chosen friend will receive the following Notification on any Social Tournaments page on both their Desktop and Mobile devices. Once they click on it, you’ll be taken to the Duels page:
8. When you get on the Duels page, either one of you needs to click on the ‘Respond’ button under the 2 vs 2 Duels option
9. Click on the ‘Play’ button on the message that pops up so you can join the Duel with your friend. If you change your mind, you can click “join solo” to team up with a random player.
Weekly Race – this duel option runs from Monday to Sunday and takes into account the number of points you collected in the first 5 duels you play in a day. Every duel you win adds 1 point, and every duel you lose adds 0 points to your score. The Weekly Race picks a random game and a random player to spin against and can be joined only in a 1 vs 1 format for the moment. The prize pool is a €500 weekly money prize.
The Weekly Race Leaderboard is calculated based on these criteria: 1. Number of Wins 2. Total Score 3. Total Duels played 4. Who got the result first
Please keep in mind that the Weekly Race duels operate on a ban system, meaning that players who don’t finish their spins in the duels will receive a short-term ban. The more times you didn’t complete the spins, the longer the ban.
Daily Race – following the rules of the Weekly Race, this type of duel runs for 24 hours every day, and it requires players to complete 10 normal tournaments in the past 7 days – that’s the only way you can join it. The Daily Race is also free to entry, with each eligible player getting 2 attempts to fight for the top place in the leaderboard to win a slice of the €100 daily prize pool.
